CDC released an Official Health Advisory providing 1) background information on a recently reported multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) associated with COVID-19; and 2) a case definition for this syndrome.

In the United States, there have been 1,480,349 confirmed cases of COVID-19 detected through U.S. public health surveillance systems in 50 states and the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the Northern Marianas Islands, and U.S. Virgin Islands.
